Those who ignore these warnings and protect the one deserving punishment, similar to Saul’s actions regarding Agag (1 Sam. 15:9) and Eli concerning his sons who did not acknowledge the Lord (1 Sam. 2:25-34), have compromised their own honor and the integrity of the Church in their community. Consequently, they stand condemned before God and righteous individuals, becoming a stumbling block to many who are newly enlightened, uninformed, and to the youth. Great sorrow is destined for them, with a heavy burden upon their shoulders (Matthew 18:6-7), leading to their eventual downfall.

Due to their reckless behavior and position of leadership, those following them may falter and, afflicted by the same flaws, will ultimately face destruction alongside them, as seen in the narrative of Jeroboam’s people (3 Kings 12:12-15) and the followers of Korah with their leader (Num. 16:32-35).
