Until the Archangel frees the captives, which signifies our need for divine assistance and salvation through the Archangel’s intercession, who was appointed for our benefit. The Prophet subsequently reveals the impending arrogance of Antiochus, stating that due to him, the offerings will be mingled with iniquity; for he forbade sacrifices to be made in accordance with the divine law and instead forced them to be conducted in a pagan fashion. The Prophet then remarks, "And it came to pass, and ‘it was well with him’" - for there were no barriers against his wrath at that time.
