Ephraem the Syrian

At times, in our moments of confusion and heightened emotions, we may be unaware of our own folly, much like walking with our feet soiled and failing to recognize it, despite our daily reflection. Similar to the blind who navigate through darkness, we rely on our instincts, as our inner understanding is deficient in the required discernment.
