The Israelites repeatedly turned away from God and fell into the worship of idols. These transgressions led to temporary consequences, with the most prolonged being their seventy-year exile in Babylon. By rejecting the Messiah and committing the grave sin of deicide, they ultimately severed their covenant with God. Such a grievous act merits a significant punishment. For two thousand years, they have endured this consequence and have continued in their profound opposition to the Incarnate God. This ongoing enmity firmly cements their rejection.
