The methods through which the wisdom of God has guided, shaped, and drawn mankind toward obedience and salvation, from the very first promise made to our ancestors until now, are equally extraordinary and beyond comprehension. These divine approaches can be categorized, as outlined in Scripture, into those that are permanent, offered continually to humanity, and those that are temporary, tailored to the specific needs of particular nations or even individual souls. The foremost of the enduring means is the call to understand and adhere to God's law.

The admonition given by Moses to the Israelites in Deuteronomy stands as an everlasting reminder, elucidated throughout the entirety of the holy texts: ‘Put on your hearts all the words which I have declared to you today, and bequeath them to your children, that they may endeavour to fulfil all the words of this law; for it is not nothing to you, but in it is your life’ (Deuteronomy 32:46-47). History confirms that when nations show fervor for knowing and following God's will, He blesses them with competent preachers, leaders, and rulers filled with genuine wisdom and passionate commitment to God and His law. Conversely, when nations neglect the word of God, they often suffer a shortage of true ministers and face an influx of false teachers. This sentiment is echoed in the words of the prophet Amos: ‘Behold the days come, saith the Lord, when I will send upon the earth a famine, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but a thirst to hear the word of the Lord. And they shall go from sea to sea, and wander from north to east, seeking the word of the Lord, and shall not find it’ (Am. 8:11-12). This prophetic message resonates profoundly with our current age. Presently, some Christian nations that have strayed from the authentic faith and the true church are ‘going from sea to sea,’ looking for orthodoxy. In their search, they only encounter reflections of their beliefs and, in despair, begin to forge a personal version of Christianity.
