Cyril. As I draw near to my conclusion, it is important to affirm once more the necessity of courage in pursuing that which is beneficial. We must recognize that our efforts reflect a moral triumph and have faith that it is God alone who rescues us and empowers us to prevail against those who oppose us, regardless of their greater strength. To illustrate the significance of our earnest endeavors, we can look to Moses who instructs us in Deuteronomy: “And remember all the way in which the Lord your God led you through the wilderness for forty years, to humble you, to test you, and to know what is in your heart, whether you will keep His commandments or not” (Deuteronomy 8:2). Those who are aware of the protective hand of God need not succumb to fears of cowardice.

In another passage, he states: “If thou say in thine heart, ‘These nations are more numerous than I; how can I drive them out?’ Do not be afraid of them; remember what the Lord your God has done to Pharaoh and all Egypt, the great trials which your eyes have seen, the signs, the wonders, and the strong arm and the high muscle with which the Lord your God has brought you out; the same thing the Lord your God will do to all the nations you fear” (Deuteronomy 7:17-19).
