The phrase "within thy bounds" suggests a meaning that, if articulated in Palestine, would be understood as "in thy houses." This expression denotes the realm of one's household possessions and belongings. As previously mentioned, the hurried exodus of the Israelites from Egypt, during which they carried unleavened dough mixed with their leaven, is honored through the observance of the festival of unleavened bread. This observance not only commemorates that significant event but also carries a deeper symbolic representation of purity.
