The sight of Moses with his radiant face fills the Israelites with fear. He summons them to share the Lord's words and removes his veil as he approaches God. The Apostle Paul addresses this in 2 Corinthians 3, indicating that a veil still covers the hearts of the Israelites, which is only lifted when they turn to the Lord.
