Moses boldly confronts Pharaoh, making it clear that he is aware of the ruler's deceptions. He demonstrates that the thunder and hail are halted through prayer, solely to illustrate that the earth belongs to the Lord, asserting that Jehovah is the true Sovereign over all creation. Meanwhile, Pharaoh's treacherous and cunning nature is fully recognized. In addition to the physical plagues, Pharaoh is subjected to profound ethical lessons and a pointed admonition presented directly to him.
