One Church Father comments on this verse

Theodoret of Cyrus

5th centuryChurch Father

You have placed judgment upon the Chaldeans, whose flesh is like that of donkeys, and their embrace resembles that of horses. Moreover, you have confronted the sins of your youth, which you committed in Egypt, amidst the turmoil where your youthful delights were lost. When she joined in communion with the Chaldeans, she did not disdain the efforts of the Egyptians but worshipped the deities of both. Yet their profound wickedness and idol worship were compared to the embrace of horses and donkeys; for idolatry is also referred to as spiritual unfaithfulness. Those who entered into a covenant with God, dedicated themselves to Him, and then turned away to seek companionship with demons, are rightly regarded as unfaithful.
