When they bury their children alongside their idols, they will approach My holy sanctuary on that day to desecrate it. This refers to the women of Jerusalem. In response, the Lord instructs the prophet: Gather the troops against them, and bring judgment upon them, for they are offering the children that I have created as sacrifices by fire to their idols.
