And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give Gog a noted place for a sepulchre in Israel: the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea, which shall cause astonishment in them that pass by: and there shall they bury Gog, and all his multitude, and it shall be called the valley of the multitude of Gog.

On that day, I will honor Gog with a distinguished burial site in Israel, a place filled with graves for those who have come from the eastern sea, where they laid to rest those who arrived from neighboring lands; he too will find his resting place there. This evokes memories of the defeat of the Assyrians under Sennacherib; for even then, the Jews experienced God's deliverance, and thereafter they will continue to receive His protection. Due to the vast number of the dead, says the Lord, they shall cover the expanse of the wilderness, burying Gog and his multitude there, which will henceforth be known as the burial ground of Gog.

The fatality count will be so immense that even the graves dug by human hands will be inadequate, and the deepest valley, lined on either side and heaped with earth above, shall serve as their final resting place. A period of seven months shall be designated for this burial; the day of Gog's ultimate demise will be commemorated, for it is written:
