The nations will come to realize that the people of Israel are in captivity due to their transgressions, having turned away from Me. I have hidden My face from them and allowed them to fall into the hands of their adversaries, where they shall perish by the sword, as stated in Ezekiel 39:24. Their impurities and wrongdoings have led to this suffering, and I have withdrawn My favor from them. The Gentile nations, witnessing the devastation I brought upon Gog, will understand that I could have imposed similar consequences on the Babylonians. However, as a result of Israel's wickedness, I permitted their subjugation and did not extend My assistance. This illustrates how quickly a rebellion among the Gentile nations arose following the return of the Israelites from exile.

Scripture indicates that the nations will be taken captive because the house of Israel was enslaved for their iniquities. Observing their swift downfall, those who can think clearly will recognize that the Israelites endured this captivity as a consequence of their sins. The subsequent words further affirm this truth.
