Once this sacrifice is fulfilled and this banquet is presented to you, all nations will witness both the strength of my intention and the justice of my decree, so that the house of Israel may understand through these events that I am their Lord and Sovereign. This day serves as a reminder, at all times, of the former ignorance of the Jews.
