I have been unable to discover the contemporary names for these thirteen nations. However, given their distance from us, they either still go by their original names or we remain unaware of any names that have evolved. These nations held dominion over the entire Indian territory known as Jeriah, starting from the river Kophen.

Ophir: this term signifies wealth among the Arab people. Bochart offers a translation connected to the Cassanites, deriving from the Hebrew word חסן hasan, which means to conceal a treasure. Havilah refers to the region adjacent to the territory of the Sabeans. Jobab, originating from Arabic, denotes a wilderness. This describes the land inhabited by the Jovarites, possibly known as the Jobavites, as recorded by Ptolemy.
