"Therefore, go," He said; "while I manage the tasks of the children and the herds, I will meet you at Seerah."

I will journey to my master in Seir. Esau, naturally, extended an invitation to Jacob to come to his land, and Jacob felt a certain obligation to acknowledge this by visiting. However, it is unclear whether Jacob ultimately carried out his commitment or if he encountered some barrier that prevented him from doing so, as Moses does not provide that information.
