You are to convey this message: Let my eyes weep day and night without ceasing, for the pure daughter of my people suffers from a severe affliction, a deep wound. This statement can be interpreted in two ways: either it reflects God's own sorrow for His people, with His eyes perpetually weeping, or it is a directive for people to mourn, recognizing the significance of the situation, as the pure daughter of His people endures the most profound hardship and an unbearable disaster. Alternatively, some interpret this as being expressed on behalf of the prophet.
