Ireneus (Orda)
Believing that Job would not challenge the validity of his words, Elihu takes the opportunity to analyze Job's assertion that the Lord punishes him without justice. He demonstrates that such a view of God contradicts our understanding of Him as the Almighty Sustainer of creation. If the Lord were to act with favoritism or unfairness, we would observe chaos in the world’s affairs, and He would not hold back punishment from those who oppose the truth. His infinite knowledge and might, along with His compassion for those wronged, ensure His justice. Therefore, humanity ought to yield to God's will. Elihu advises a reconsideration of Job's perspective as a means to guide him back to the truth.
