The eighth day may symbolize the period of our spiritual edifice being constructed in the flesh, marked by the sacrificial death of Immanuel for our sake—the truly melodious and most harmonious turtledove. Through His own precious blood, He achieved ‘for ever those who are sanctified’ (Heb. 10:14). The essence of Christ’s death encompasses every fragrance, as it was offered for the sake of the world’s redemption and the removal of sin. This is illustrated by the presence of two turtledoves, one designated for sin’s offering, while the other was intended for a burnt sacrifice.
