The law also includes a provision for a woman experiencing a menstrual discharge, along with one who suffers from a perpetual flow that renders her unclean. Just as any container, bed, garment, or person who comes into contact with her becomes ceremonially unclean, so is she affected. Her purification is similarly conducted, involving ritual washing, the offering of turtledoves, and atonement through the priest. (See Lev. 15:1-15)
