The law also includes regulations regarding a woman experiencing a menstrual flow, as well as one who endures a continuous discharge that renders her unclean. Just as any vessel, bed, garment, and any person who touches or approaches her are rendered impure by a man who emits seed, so too is she made unclean. Her purification involves a similar process, which includes ceremonial washing, the offering of turtledoves, and atonement through the priest. (See Lev. 15:1-15)
