The law also addresses the situation of a wife experiencing bleeding, as well as a woman suffering from a persistent flow that renders her unclean. Just as every container, bed, garment, and any man who comes into contact with the source of this seed is made unclean, so too is she rendered unclean. The process for her purification mirrors that of the one who has become unclean, involving the washing with water, the offering of turtledoves, and propitiation through the priest. (See Lev. 15:1-15)
