Cyril. In Christ, we embrace the practice of keeping the Sabbath, finding rest through the relinquishment of secular endeavors. No longer hindered by worldly anxieties, we instead delight in ‘the Lord’, as it is written (Psalm 36:4), and share in His divine inheritance. God conveys this truth in the Book of Leviticus to the holy seer Moses: (Leviticus 25:2-10). Do you understand that the law permits you to work the land, plant seeds, and tend the vines only until the seventh year? However, in the seventh year, it instructs us to abandon our concern for these matters. As Sabbath-keepers in Christ, we find solace in setting aside earthly worries and completely turning away from worldly distractions.
