Nabo, a city associated with the descendants of Reuben located in Gilead, is referenced by Isaiah in his prophecy concerning Moab, as well as by Jeremiah. The name Naboth also belongs to an individual from a nearby village, which he named after himself; the barren area known as Naba, situated eight miles south of Eusebon, continues to be recognized today. Across the Jordan lies Baal, a city that belongs to the sons of Reuben. Sabama, also found in the territory of Gilead and part of the inheritance of the Reuben tribe, is similarly noted by Isaiah in his vision regarding Moab.
