Who could it be other than the one who, in the final days of His earthly ministry, was suspended on the cross, whose sacrificial blood became the life-giving drink for those who believe? Who else but the one whose crucifixion with a crown of thorns transformed His blood into a source of salvation for the faithful? Moses prophetically alluded to this in his reference to ‘the blood of the vine,’ symbolizing the redemptive suffering endured for our salvation.

This imagery illustrates that the land was so rich and fruitful that honey emerged from the very rocks, thanks to the abundance of bees. Some interpret this to mean that the drink produced by the stone was tailored to each person's needs—honey for one, oil for another, or even the oil of cows and wheat for others. Yet, these manifestations hold a deeper meaning in Christ. He stands as the true foundation, the source of life for all humankind; for anyone who seeks Him, He fulfills every desire: to one, He is the Light; to another, the Door; to another, the Way; and to yet another, the Wisdom. He embodies everything for everyone and is beneficial for all. “And oil from the solid rock” (Num. 11:8), or the fruits of the olive trees flourishing on the hills, which become even more abundant through His blessings.
