"Blessed is He who enlarges Gad." This refers to Immanuel, who, through His apostles, provided access to the kingdom of the Gospel and made it flourish. "As a lion lay down, he broke the strength and the head." The strength symbolizes the realm of demons, while the head signifies the devil, both of which are defeated.
