The Lord declares that He will challenge your statements and expose their falseness. Rather than uphold your empty assurances, reminiscent of comfortable cushions and support, He will unleash calamities upon those who trust in you, leading them to learn the truth of your deceit. However, He will also rescue them from your untruths through their trials, guiding them to disregard your misleading words and recognize Him as their Lord and Sovereign.
