Theodoret of Cyrus

5th centuryChurch Father

If a person feels uplifted and directs their thoughts to the heavens, they will find joy in recognizing their own fragility and the unveiling of evil. Indeed, those who once behaved like beasts will hasten to join him, and with their own hands, they will dismantle the false temples of worship, for God has deemed them as branches.
