The wrath of the Lord was expressed when He declared that those who had shown disdain for the promised land would not enter it, serving as a consequence of their disbelief (Num. 14:29). However, their children and wives, who remained faithful and were not held accountable due to their age or gender, would receive the inheritance of that land. Consequently, all individuals aged twenty and above perished in the wilderness, while others faced delayed consequences. Those who followed Jesus and subsequently incited the people were struck down by the Lord without hesitation (Num. 14:37). Jesus and Caleb (Num. 14:6) entered the promised land alongside the innocent based on their youth and gender.
