The turbulent, salty waves of the endless depths may represent the transgressions that lead the unrighteous to perish in the wickedness of their earthly existence, as well as the pit of their impending doom. At the Final Judgment, they will be cast into Gehenna alongside the devil. It is important to recognize that when the Tabernacle was established on Mount Sinai, the Red Sea lay to its west, and when it was transported to Shiloh and set up there by Joshua, the Mediterranean Sea likewise stretched in the same direction.

In the profound interpretation of Scripture, it can be understood that the faithful who serve the Lord in this world create a dwelling for Him within their hearts and reject the arrogant self-congratulation of the wicked who appear righteous, as if discerning the imminent end of such pride. The just will be relocated to their eternal home in proximity to the Lord and will witness the everlasting fate of the wicked without any detriment to their joyful state. Thus, our forebears also express their gratitude to the Lord, as they not only experience the blessings granted by Him but also see the evil from which He has rescued them.
