Cyrill of Alexandria

The law includes a provision related to a woman who experiences continuous bleeding, along with guidelines for a female suffering from a persistent flow that renders her unclean. Just as every item, bed, article of clothing, and person who comes into contact with or approaches someone who has emitted seed becomes unclean, so too is she rendered unclean. Her purification is similarly accomplished through the application of water, the sacrifice of turtledoves, and atonement performed by the priest. (See Lev. 15:1-15)
