Following all these events, they will recognize that He is not merely Lord, as previously stated, but additionally Lord of all, especially their God who is present with them. As conveyed in the Gospel to the apostles, He declares, ‘Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age’ (Matthew 28:19). When the Lord is acknowledged as their God, they will also be regarded as His people—not just any individuals, but specifically those worthy of being called the house of Israel.

It is important to remember the Apostle’s declaration that not everyone from Jerusalem is truly Israel, nor are all descendants of Abraham considered his children (Rom. 9:6, 7). Additionally, we must acknowledge the wise words of John the Baptist directed at the Pharisees: God is capable of raising children for Abraham from these stones (Matthew 3:9). From this, it is clear that all who have faith and perceive the Almighty as much as is possible to perceive are regarded as Israel, for this is the essence of that name. This was initially fulfilled among the Jews upon their return from exile; however, this prophecy primarily and authentically pertains to us, as what has been realized within us is not merely a foreshadowing, but a true fulfillment.
