After two years, the cupbearer recalled Joseph to Pharaoh's attention, prompting Pharaoh to summon him from prison. Upon the cupbearer's mention of Joseph, after many years, Pharaoh directed that Joseph be released from his confinement. Joseph was graciously brought out of prison at Pharaoh's command, serving as a true reflection of Christ. He easily interprets dreams and foretells a forthcoming abundance. In contrast, our Lord Jesus Christ, raised from the dead by His own might, triumphantly defeats hell, offers our salvation as a gift to His Father, and proclaims the resurrection and everlasting life. The king rejoiced upon hearing about Joseph and called for him with great care.
