Where do heretics draw from the Holy Scriptures, or from whom do they receive their teachings, that there exists another Word and another wisdom apart from this Son, leading them to fabricate such tales? Indeed, it is declared, “My word is not like fire, and is not like a hammer that breaks the rock” (Jer. 23:29). Moreover, it is stated in the book of Proverbs, “I will declare my words unto you.” These are the commandments and decrees that God has revealed to the saints through His one and true Word. Regarding these words, the Psalmist proclaimed, “I keep my feet from every evil way, that I may keep Thy word” (Ps. 118:101). The Savior, showing that these words differ from Him and originate from Him, affirmed: “The words which I speak unto you are spirit and life” (John 6:63).

These words are neither begotten nor are they sons. There are not multiple begotten words, nor many likenesses of the one God, nor are there various beings who took on flesh for our sake. None of these words are the Word who became incarnate (John 1:14), through whom all things came into existence (John 1:3). Therefore, concerning our Lord Jesus Christ and His oneness with the Father, testimonies have been recorded that serve as evidence, wherein the Father confirms that He is the one Son, and the saints affirm and teach that He is the Word and the only begotten Son.

Let us, therefore, honor His sacred and exalted name and steer clear of the warnings directed at the disobedient, so we can dwell securely in the majesty of His holy name. Heed our guidance, and you shall not regret it. For God is alive, and the Lord Jesus Christ is alive, and the Holy Spirit, who embodies the faith and hope of the chosen ones, ensures that anyone who fulfills the commandments given by God with true humility and consistent gentleness, without turning back, will be counted among those saved through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

For these individuals, the lines between righteousness and wickedness, integrity and dishonor are blurred, resulting in their condemnation; they have brought upon themselves a just sentence, as proclaimed by the Divine Wisdom with the words: Behold, I will impart my spirit to you for expression, and I will convey my message to you. In the previous verse, Divine Wisdom chastised those foolish ones who flouted her instructions; now she begins to issue a solemn warning. Her menacing declaration is not an empty echo, merely reverberating in vain, nor is it a hollow noise—rather, it is a vibrant utterance, emerging from the very depths of the spirit, imbued with heavenly authority, thus proving impactful.
