3 Church Fathers comment on this verse

Andrew of Caesarea

6th centuryChurch Father

This, I think, means that everything foretold by the holy prophets will be fulfilled after six ages, in the seventh, which is signified by the seventh trumpet. This fulfillment is called good tidings because of the rest prepared after it for the saints.

Borodin P.M.

19th centuryChurch Father

The angel swears by the name of God, by Whom he was sent, that there will be no more time for repentance or for bringing forth its good fruits.

Ivanov A.V.

19th centuryChurch Father

"Then the mystery of God will be finished, as He proclaimed to His servants the prophets." This mystery does not refer to the fall of Jerusalem, nor to any other calamity, because it is proclaimed as good tidings. Rather, it refers to the liberation of Christians from Jews and pagans, or to some other joyful event.
