Therefore he also says further:
And he swore by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven and the things which are therein, and the earth and the things which are in it, and the sea and the things which are therein: That time shall be no longer.

Therefore he also says further:
The angel swears by the name of God, by Whom he was sent, that there will be no more time for repentance or for bringing forth its good fruits.
"That there should be time no longer." The angel who appeared from heaven swears by Almighty God that there will be no more time for mercy. No postponement or delay will be granted in the execution of the coming punishment.
