He reached out and set me upright, speaking to me in this manner. Overcome by fear, the prophet fell to the ground, resembling a creature on all fours with his head lowered; yet, upon the angel's touch, he stood up, enabling him to listen and comprehend the forthcoming message without trepidation.

Theodoret of Cyrus

Gabriel, noticing that I was trembling in fear, lifted me up and reassured me, explaining that he had come to reveal to me, in response to my longing, the future and all that God's judgment would once more bring upon my people. To ease my apprehension, he assured me that these events were set to unfold in due time. Additionally, he provided clarity on each vision, stating, "The ram that you observed with horns represents the king of the Medes and Persians."
