This material abundance is bound to fade away and be lost, regardless of whether the one who possesses it has offspring or not. However, the wealthy individual, whether he desires it or not, is destined to return to the ground and face death, just as he initially emerged into being.

He also examines the concept of justice. The presence of injustice should not lead to despair, as the supreme judge will hold the lesser judges accountable. Even when faced with tyrannical authority, one should not succumb to hopelessness, since having some power is preferable to being entirely powerless. When addressing the topic of material riches, the preacher points out that a poor individual should not be disheartened by the wealth of others. In fact, the poor can experience greater joy in life than the affluent. Furthermore, the wealthy may not always manage their riches wisely. Consequently, the most prudent course is to take delight in what God provides, without being overly concerned for what lies ahead.
