The all-wise Lord often utilizes the same actions to both bless His chosen ones and provide a means for those who stray to realize the might of His Providence. This was evident in Egypt, where He executed judgment upon its inhabitants while preserving the Israelites unharmed. The Egyptians encountered the power of God not only in His wrath against them but also through His providential care for the Israelites. In turn, the Israelites, witnessing the daily plagues that afflicted Egypt, recognized the profound love of God for them. Through these same actions, He manifested the grandeur of His power to both His faithful and His foes.
