Other scholars have rendered the phrase, "Will you not judge?" differently, interpreting it as "Judge," meaning that by bearing My countenance, you, O Prophet, will render judgment on Samaria and Jerusalem. You will reveal their rightful offenses, illustrating how they have abandoned Me to engage in fellowship with idols. You will show how they have offered their children—whom I entrusted to them—as sacrifices to these idols, disregarding My commandments and desecrating My Sabbaths.
