I will increase your numbers, both of people and livestock, and they will thrive and flourish. I will restore you to your former state and show you kindness, just like the summer that has passed; then they will recognize that I am the Lord. Not the mountains themselves will comprehend this, but rather those who reside upon them. This took place after the return from Babylon, as evidenced by events; for the cities of Palestine, now bustling with life, are being rebuilt and are renowned for their beauty. Yet the only one that remains in ruin is that city where the Jews, in their vehement rebellion against their Lord and Redeemer, committed the grave act of the cross, thereby securing salvation for all humanity but bringing destruction upon themselves.

The Lord promised that all of Israel would be restored, and He fulfilled His promise; He opened the way for all to return to Cyprus, yet those burdened by persistent disobedience defied the command and chose their homeland over others.
