For this reason, proclaim, O son of man, and call out to Gog: Thus declares the Lord Adonai: Is it not on that day, when my people Israel will dwell securely, that you will comprehend and rise? And you shall come from your place at the farthest north, accompanied by many nations, all mounted on steeds, a vast assembly, with many valiant warriors, and you shall descend upon my people Israel like a cloud covering the land: in the latter days it will occur, after the return of Israel, as previously mentioned, when my people Israel shall live in peace, then you will understand and arise.

Likewise, the revered Moses declared: I will reveal to them what will occur in the final days; for this generation is corrupt, and he does not refer to the final days as the end or the time of their dispersion. I will bring you into My land, so that all the nations may know Me when I am sanctified in you before them, O Gog! At present, the nations do not require Gog to impart knowledge of the God of all; they have received this understanding from the Lord Christ. However, before the Incarnation of the Lord, such wonders were necessary. Thus, when Sennacherib devastated countless soldiers in Judea, through that miracle the nations came to recognize the God of all humanity. Therefore, the blessed David proclaims, 'God commands in Judah: His name is great in Israel.' And in the defeat of these nations in Judah, all who acknowledged the might of the God of all broke into song. Hence, God states, Let all the nations know Me when I am sanctified in you; that is, when I am glorified, having shown My power.
