For this reason, proclaim, O son of man, and call out to Gog: Thus says the Sovereign Lord: Is it not on that day when my people Israel dwell securely that you will recognize and rise? And you shall come from your location at the northernmost point, accompanied by many nations, all on horseback, a vast multitude, and numerous valiant warriors, and you shall descend upon my people Israel like a dense cloud covering the earth: in the latter days, that is, following the restoration of Israel. The previous statement emphasized this: when my people Israel shall dwell in safety, then you will comprehend and take action. The esteemed Moses also declared: I will reveal to them what will occur in the latter days, for this generation is perverse (Deuteronomy 32:20).

He does not define the latter days as the end, nor the period of their scattering. I will bring you to My land, so that all the nations may acknowledge Me when I am set apart in you before their eyes, O Gog! At present, the nations do not require Gog to impart to them the knowledge of the God of all; for this understanding has already been given to them through the Lord Christ. However, prior to the Incarnation of the Lord, such miracles were necessary. In this way, when Sennacherib decimated thousands of troops in Judea, this miraculous event led the nations to recognize the God of all humanity. This is why the blessed David proclaims, 'God is present in Judah; great is His name in Israel' (Psalm 75:2). Through the defeat of these nations in Judah, all who witnessed the might of the God of all broke forth in song. Therefore, God declares, Let all the nations acknowledge Me when I am sanctified in you; that is, when I am glorified by revealing My power.
